Hiram’s Guns is an important piece of San Diego history. Being the oldest gun store in the county, we decided to preserve the name and carry on the tradition.
We may be the oldest gun shop in San Diego, but we have everything from classic to modern ones to suit your needs. We are a full-fledged FFL, so we can handle private party transfers and out-of-state dealer transfers for bringing your compliant guns into Commiefornia.
We carry the widest range of accessories in San Diego County. We have firearms for sale, gun accessories, armored plates, holsters, pepper spray, and tons more.
We have many different 80% lower receivers and parts available at our store. We sell AR-15, LR-308, P80 Glock, and 1911 build kits. Every part needed to complete your 80% build can be sourced here at Hiram’s or any one of our other locations.
First timers are welcome
If you’ve never owned or shot a firearm before, don’t feel anxious. There are a lot of decisions to make when buying a gun, and our friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to assist you. Whether you’re an
avid shooter, or brand new.

We are pleased to operate Hiram’s Guns under the original name. We could never wipe away important piece of history that everyone is familiar with and has grown up with. Hiram’s is proud to continue being able to serve the residents

with the firearm best suited for you and your needs.
Type 7 FFL
We specialize in dealing with private party transfers, and out-of-state dealer transfers.
Have a firearm that needs to be transferred? Has a loved one left you firearms in another state? We can help with all of it. We can handle any private party transfers of firearms, or have an out-of-state gun shipped to our store. The
firearms for all of these types of transfers must be California compliant before shipping.

If you’re purchasing a gun for the first time, you might have a lot of questions that need answered. We’re more than happy to help. We pride ourselves in assisting first time gun owners with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Whereas
other stores are quick to pass judgement or interject personal opinion, we simply want to make sure you are happy with your purchase and have the proper firearm most suited for your needs.
